One year later: the "Baku" village mosque in Benin
One year ago, Al Baraka Azerbaijan volunteers built a mosque in Benin's "Baku" village. However, follow-up observations revealed that one of the most serious problems facing local residents is the lack of clean drinking water.
Construction of a water well begins
To address this need, with your support a fundraising campaign was launched to build a water well next to the mosque. Every shared post, every prayer and every donation became a means for this good project to come to life.
Current project status
- The fundraising campaign was completed successfully
- Construction works have begun
- The works are expected to finish on schedule
- Villagers will have continuous access to clean water
