Which night does Laylat al-Qadr fall on?
Laylat al-Qadr occurs in the last ten nights of Ramadan, but its exact date is hidden. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said it should be sought in the odd nights: 21, 23, 25, 27, 29.
Why is it hidden?
"...Its concealment is better for you so that you seek it and worship throughout all of the last ten nights."
(Sahih al-Bukhari, hadith no. 2024 — close meaning)
Allah's wisdom is that the servant spends all of the last ten nights in worship.
